Ian Fenwick, BCom

Ian received his BCom at the University of Otago in 2003, after serving over 14 years with the Royal New Zealand Airforce.

Besides being a very busy, but not boring accountant, Ian also volunteers his time and acts as Treasurer for both the Kapiti Coast Chamber of Commerce, and Business Kapiti, Horowhenua.

Ian will be talking to us about the business side of business. Tax obligations, GST requirements and the various Business Structures you should consider forming.

Catherine Healey, Sex Worker Rights’ Activist

Catherine and her fellow NZPC members initiated the campaign to decriminalize prostitution.

She continues to work behind the scenes for our rights here in New Zealand, but is also sought after Internationally to assist sex workers in other countries.

In 2010, Catherine was invited to the University of Oxford in England, to debate whether prostitution should be decriminalized there. She won the debate. The House of Commons in the UK has also invited her there to speak on issues and policies related to prostitution.

Catherine will be joining us and will talk a little about (not sure what you’re wanting to talk about, so would you please just tell me what you are wanting to talk about/on etc.)

Steve obtained his Masters in Marine Biology at Auckland University and Masters of Business Administration at Melbourne University. He has worked all over the World in a wide variety of fields, Marine Biologist, Commercial Diver, Pedlar of Robots, and Pedlar of Porn …to name a few.

In researching him, one of the nicest things I found out is that he fronted up to two women he did not know to assist them with a legal battle by funding their Court Case. Yes, 2 ladies flashed Prince Charles, and then were arrested.

“I thought, hang on a sec, that can’t be right. If a guy did it, he wouldn’t be arrested”, Quoted by Steve Crow. The ladies’ lawyers subsequently declined his assistance, however, Boobs on Bikes was born.
